This is our start to a new series of makeovers. Every week one of our very talented stylists will ambush someone for a makeover. This week, our new talent sylist, Jenn, had the honors.

Erin, our "ambushee", had some purple highlights lingering from a moment of feeling outrageously trendy. She was ready to change her editorial style hair into something a little more modern and sophisticated. Jenn went to work with color...and more color. She added some highlights, color, then topped Erin off with a glossy red glaze.

"One of our biggest challenges is when clients don't want to cut off any length but want a new look", Jenn said. "We were definitely able to fulfill Erin's request without sacrificing too much length."
Jenn added some layers to Erin's hair while maintaining the length, which actually created an illusion of longer hair...perfect! To compliment her look Leah touched up her make-up for a glowing finish!

Updo 101

Wedding and prom season is about to kick off and our team has been polishing their skills. On Monday, Courtney, our updo guru, went over some of the trends of the season. At this class, the stylists were reviewing some of the favorite looks from the Golden Globes...the modern twist.

Here is a peek of our 'modern classics'.

MS Walk

Yesterday was a beautiful sunny day for our MS Walk through Colt State Park. Thanks to all of our clients who purchased an MS Savings Cards, we raised over $2,000. If you haven't bought one, there is still time and a lot of savings left for the rest of the year.

My boys, Kaden and Max, "walked" for their Mimi who was diagnosed with MS 12 years ago and has been dominating the battle ever since.

Moroccan Oil Addiction

So, it took me two months of hearing clients and our sales rep, Martha, talking about how great Moroccan oil is before I would try it. I was very skeptical that this oil was any different from the numerous ones I have tried over the years. But here I am now a believer...an addict. Moroccan Oil is amazing. There I admitted it. First off, the smell is unbelievable. It removes frizz and dryness without making the hair feel greasy. You can't even feel the oil in the hair which makes it perfect for fine hair people too. And if that isn't enough, it actually helps restore overprocessed hair.

If you are like me, you need to try it to believe it. Next time you are in the studio, ask your stylist to try it on you or for a sample (hurry, these are going like hotcakes!). Visit their website at http://www.moroccanoil.com/.
