You know a bride is going to be nice when her last name is Niece.
And as an aside, am I the only person who still has to say to myself, 'i' before 'e' , except after 'c' or when sounding like 'neighbor' or 'whey' when typing a ie/ei word? I hope not because then I will be embarrassed.
Anyways, Kim Niece's nice-ness was an added bonus to her beauty. She had the most gorgeous red hair (it's origin shall remain a secret...but if it was 'enhanced', her colorist should win an award for creating the most natural redhead EVER). Kim also happened to be one of the most organized brides in New Leaf history. Love organized.
Kim was smart...she decided to treat her wedding party to some real girl time on Friday with manicures and pedicures before the rehearsal.
Kim looks like she is having a great time with Nicole. Or maybe she is just ticklish...
Does it get any more relaxing? (Okay, maybe if you were actually napping...but then no one would be massaging your feet!) I'll take a pedicure over a nap any day.
This is the stuff some brides dream about with their girlfriends when they are little girls...painting their nails together on their wedding day.
Kim and Elizabeth have been friends for years.
By the way, that's Mary and Nicole. We have the nicest nail techs in the entire world. But I am not biased or anything. Plus, they both polish to absolute perfection. Bonus.
Nicole buffing away...
Kim's done and ready to air dry...no smudges!!
Nice bling...
Kim didn't forget Mom either....
Now it's Kim's wedding day. There was a bit (okay, a LOT) of rain going on but that didn't put a damper on her day. When your wedding is at a place as beautiful as Newport's Astor's Beechwood Mansion, it really doesn't matter what the weather is doing outside. Our New Leaf-golden-touch-of-weather-streak is over. Officially.
Here is Kim's bridemaid, Elizabeth.
Her skin was like porcelain but she swore it was all Amy's doing...
There's that serious beauty face again...
Softly swept to the side...
Michelle and Elizabeth
Can you even stand how pretty she is? We were so lucky. And that red hair. I am slightly obsessed. Red hair is a rarity. A few years ago, we even heard that redheads would be extinct by the year 2060. After some Google research (valid source), that is a myth and completely untrue. Whew!
She might as well be on the pages in a bridal magazine.
Leah's work of art.
Thanks to Kim and her ladies. We had so much fun with you for two days! Congratulations on your wedding and have a blast on your honeymoon.
